In my still lives I love exploring different perspectives, colour and textures. I am always surprised how each painting evolves, I start with an idea in mind and love the way different environments affect the finished piece.

My time spent on the LLyn Peninsula inspires my land and sea scapes. Our holiday letting business, now with 3 lets around Aberdaron on the LLyn Peninsula, affords us time to spend in this enchanting part of Wales.

I frame all my paintings myself...  (with a little bit of help from my friends) using professional equipment, Many are also hand painted, and are priced including the frame you see on display. Second class parcel postage is included in the price for the UK. The paintings are ready to hang on your wall, varnished and complete with picture wire. I generally use acrylic paint, but vary the way I apply it.
The size quoted includes the frame. I sign my work with the initials SCH, which stands for Sarah Caroline Heelis, my maiden name. My father's family are cousins of William Heelis who married Beatrix Potter. Presently there are no males to carry on our Lake District name, so it is up to the females to try their best!  Do contact me with any questions.

I look forward  to hearing from you.    Mobile 07789965352    Email
